This is something I have always dreamed about doing! I am thrilled to offer classes + workshops that focus on watercolor, illustration, and storytelling.
Group Workshops are designed to allow for brain-storming and a bit of teamwork, while also having time for personalized instruction for each artist.
Private Lessons are designed to be age-appropriate, skill building, and tailored to an area of interest while honoring the ideas and processes of each child.

The name Little Scribble Studio is inspired by one of my daughter’s favorite books, I’m Not Just A Scribble by Diane Alber. The book is about a messy little scribble who gets excluded by neat and tidy drawings, saying they don’t have straight lines and their colors are too bright. Scribble never waivers, and ends up showing them that they are loved and valuable BECAUSE of what makes them different, not just in spite of being different.
This felt like the perfect name because it took me a long time to realize that my creativity is a superpower, and that I am the most fulfilled when I share that with others.

I offer classes for children between the ages of 5-10 years old. I am able to teach older children as well, but this age range is my speciality.
I teach all skill levels! I will do an exercise for the first 5-10 minutes of classes and workshops that help me identify the child’s natural strengths, and use those to individualize the classes and workshops.

No materials needed to start workshops! I provide all materials for students to use and/or take home.
Private lessons have a one time materials fee to start.
This may change in the future, but I am picky about high quality paints and brushes, and I think this makes a difference when you are learning skills and techniques (especially watercolor).
Some stay with me, and some go home with your child!

Does your child draw and sketch any chance they get? These lessons are great for any child that is showing lots of interest in art from a young age. I want to help you foster that! I was lucky to have parents that encouraged my creativity.
These will be customized to your child’s interests and their pace.
I am absolutely willing to work with parents/adults that may be concerned about pricing.
